Education: Industrial Design Engineering

My name is Jip de Meijer, and I will have a seat in the Student Council for ORAS. I will work on the Marketing of ORAS. Together with Louis, the Communication Commissioner, I will focus on the presentation of ORAS and spreading the vision of ORAS amongst students. That’s how we can get a lot of input of our students. We will use pamphlets, our Facebook page, the website and the new Instagram account to keep our students up-to-date and to ask for input. Furthermore we will also organize the ORAS comes TU you-days where we will collect student’s opinions by serving out surveys on the faculties.

Next to marketing I will be working on education, I will focus on a few subjects. These are Bachelor Influx, education innovation, entrepreneurship education, the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus cooperation and study counselling. At last, I will be a member of the board of the association of ORAS. With the other boardmembers, who are working part-time, I will run the association ORAS for this year.
